Yokohama F.Marinos defender Milos Degenek has been selected in the 26 man roster of the Australian senior team for a couple friendly matches in Europe next week.

Degenek commented "I’m very grateful to the new coach who has selected me and believes in me. It’s a step towards our World Cup preparation. I give a lot of thanks for this to my club, Yokohama F.Marinos and Ange Postecoglou who has helped me since the start of this year. I’m looking forward to new challenges."

He is expected to join his fellow Socceroos after J-League match on March 18th against Urawa Reds.
