Milos Degenek, F.Marinos defender, has been named in the Socceroos' 23man roster for the FIFA World Cup in Russia on June 3rd.

"It's an amazing feeling that knowing I've worked very hard for this for a long time" the Aussie commented on his selection.
Degenek also noted, "It's a dream come true. It's something I'll forever remeber and keep in my heart. It's something that will keep me motivated for bigger and better things."

Australia is in Group C and will face France, Denmark, and Peru to fight for top 2 spot to advance in the Round of 16 and beyond.

Degenek is the lone Tricolore to participate in the World Cup this summer.
