Yokohama F.Marinos is delighted to announce that the club has agreed to sign DUSAN CVETINOVIC transferred from RC Lens (France) pending medical.
First of all, I would like start by showing my appreciation to the Yokohama F.Marinos for giving the opportunity to come and play.
I know that they have all worked really hard to get the deal done so I owe a lot of gratitude to the club.As soon as I heard from my Agents that there was interest, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to come and play for this amazing football club. I have really enjoyed my time playing in France for a great club in RC Lens but I was ready for a new challenge and experience. Everyone knows that the J-League is a well established league and play a very high standard of football.I watched the Japan games in the World Cup and I thought they were a great team. They were so unfortunate to go out in the fashion they did. I was very impressed with the quality of the football and the mentality of the players. They were honest, very hard working and tenacious men which mirrors my personality, so I knew playing with players like this in the J-League would be a perfect fit with my mentality and how I like to play football.I am very honoured to have this opportunity to play football for Yokohama F.Marinos. I can not wait to meet my new manager and team mates in the next coming days and get out on the training pitch. I have been working really hard during the French pre-season preparation to make sure I am ready as soon as possible. I am looking forward to seeing the fans on game days. Im feeling great and can’t wait to get started.
